Our Amy Nadimi named Los Angeles Lakers' Woman of Promise

Being honored as the Los Angeles Lakers' Woman of Promise was one of the most surreal and humbling moments of my life. As a lifelong Laker fan, standing on the court during halftime felt like stepping into a dream. Seeing my name up on the screen while being celebrated for my work at Revive Neurofeedback was beyond anything I could have imagined.

When I first heard that I was being recognized, I couldn’t quite believe it. I’ve always admired how the Los Angeles Lakers uplift and honor those making a difference in their communities, but to be on the receiving end of that acknowledgment was deeply moving. The night was filled with excitement, but more than that, it was a moment of reflection—on how far I’ve come, the people who have supported me, and the lives I’ve been able to touch through neurofeedback.

I’ve dedicated so much of my life to helping others through neurofeedback, working with a diverse range of clients—from professional athletes seeking mental clarity and optimal performance, to children overcoming focus and anxiety challenges, to corporate executives managing stress, and even frontline workers seeking balance and resilience. Guiding clients through challenges like anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and more has been an incredible journey. My practice has always been about resilience and transformation—teaching people to harness their minds’ potential to heal and thrive. To have that work recognized on such a grand stage felt validating not just for me but for everyone I’ve worked with.

Reflecting on that night, I felt a deep sense of gratitude for the journey that brought me to that moment. Seeing the bright lights and hearing the cheering crowd was a powerful reminder of the impact that passion, dedication, and hard work can have. It was a reminder that when we dedicate ourselves to something we truly believe in, the impact resonates far beyond what we can see.

I am grateful to the Los Angeles Lakers and Comerica Bank for this honor. This recognition fuels my passion even more to continue helping people with neurofeedback and advocating for mental wellness. I want to thank my incredible support system—my family, friends, clients, and community—because this achievement is just as much theirs as it is mine.

If there’s one message I hope to share from this experience, it’s this: Don’t be afraid to follow your passion, even when it’s challenging. Keep showing up, keep doing the work, and let your impact speak for itself. You never know who’s watching and how your story might inspire someone else.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey. I am honored, humbled, and more driven than ever to continue making a difference.
